Position: Principle Osteopath
Sarah is a UK trained Osteopath. She splits her working week between treating people & animals. This sees her traveling between the 2 islands of NZ.
Sarah worked in the UK before coming out to NZ in 2001. Her practices are set within other well established medical practices, & clinics within Canterbury.
Her main Osteopathic focus is on the treatment of sports injuries & problems especially within the young person, pregnancy, babies & children & animals.
Other commitments to the Osteopathic field in NZ have been lecturing on animal osteopathy to the members of the profession & publically. In 2006 Sarah was appointed an examiner for overseas osteopaths by the OCNZ, which ended in 2010. She still continues to work with the council at present in the paediatric scope of osteopathy & as a mentor to overseas osteopaths. Sarah lectured in Animal Osteopath in the UK at The ESO. In November 2014 at the 10th ICAOR Conference in Brazil Sarah presented a paper on Forelimb lameness in dogs due to Bicipital tenosynovitis.
